Ananda Nyero
Move-In Coordinator
Ananda has always enjoyed helping others and building relationships across generations. She was drawn to Solera because of its focus on creating meaningful experiences for seniors and fostering a sense of belonging. She deeply resonates with Solera’s core value of compassion and approaches every interaction with warmth, patience, and care.
As Modena Reserve at Bethesda’s Move-In Coordinator, she enjoys helping older adults and their families navigate this important life transition with confidence and peace. “Moving can be emotional and overwhelming, so I find it rewarding to provide guidance, answer questions, and help make the process as seamless as possible,” Ananda says. “I also enjoy building relationships with residents, learning their stories, and seeing them settle into a community where they can feel comfortable and supported. Knowing that I've helped make a potentially stressful experience a positive one is one of the most fulfilling parts of my role.”
Ananda is proud to be a first-generation American. Her family is originally from Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo and has called the U.S. home for over 40 years. Being part of a family that built a life in a new country taught her the values of resilience, hard work, adaptability, and community — values she employs in both her personal and professional life.
A fun fact about Ananda is that she collects perfumes! She enjoys learning about fragrance notes and discovering new scents, and this hobby reflects her appreciation for personal expression. In her free time, she has always enjoyed running and hiking, and also loves to try new foods. If she could select her perfect vacation, she would visit the beaches of Seychelles off the coast of Madagascar.
